Who is MUSO
I'm a pipe welder and I work on site on industrial plants, water treatment plants, paper mills and aqueducts. On social media I show what I actually do: welds, pipework, ordinary working days. OneShot grew out of that, without building a character different from who I am on site.
I started posting my work and, over time, the videos began reaching more and more people. The numbers came afterwards: the work came first, and that's what I want to keep showing.
Where the name comes from
My colleagues stuck «One Shot» on me, on site, three or four years ago. Sometimes I'd close a flange in a single pass: at the end of the run the shout would go up — One Shot! One Shot! — and we'd laugh together. The name stuck.
It isn't a promise of perfection and I didn't choose it: it was born at work, among the people who do the work.
Why I made myself the jacket
Over the years I watched the international welding world closely, above all the American one, where FR jackets have become part of the identity of many big names and brands. I was offered other brands' jackets more than once too, but that wasn't what I wanted to do.
After building OneShot with my own work and my own content, I didn't want to become simply one more person wearing someone else's brand. If I was going to wear an FR jacket, I wanted it to be OneShot. The idea was to create something recognisable for people working in Italy and Europe too, at a price that stays accessible compared with many jackets bought from the United States, where shipping and customs can weigh heavily on the final cost.
It isn't the best welding jacket in the world. It's mine: I wear it myself, at work.
Three rules, and no exceptions
01 — I try it first
I don't present the FR Jacket in a studio only: I actually wore OFFICINA 01 on site before selling it. I want the product to be seen in the place it was made for as well.
02 — I state the numbers
Weight, declared composition, measurements of the garment laid flat: I write them as they are, without inflating them. The fabric has an FR treatment declared by the manufacturer, but the finished garment is not certified PPE: when a claim would require a certification we don't have, I don't present it as certified. If I don't know something, I write that I don't know instead of filling the gap with adjectives.
03 — What's there, is there
I don't keep warehouses full. The sizes I have in stock ship in 48–72 hours. The others are made when you order them and arrive in 35–40 days: I tell you up front, so you know what you're waiting for. Same price, always: I don't run sales on what you've just bought.
The details on the sleeves
The details on the sleeves are part of the OFFICINA identity: the welder logo on the left sleeve and the FR detail on the right.
The welder logo is the only thing in colour on a black garment. A welder with the visor down: you don't see the face, you see the trade. It's small on purpose: those who know what it is recognise it from a distance, to everyone else it just looks like a detail.
