OneShot
Notes on materials
This is where I write what the things I sell are made of, and what they are not. If I don't have a figure, I write that I don't have it.
OneShot FR Jacket — OFFICINA 01
- Fabric: cotton with FR treatment (flame resistant), 340 g/m², according to the fabric manufacturer's declaration. The finished garment is not certified as PPE. Twill weave.
- Weight: 340 g/m², declared by the fabric manufacturer.
- Buttons: metal snap buttons. Three-position adjustable cuff.
- Embroidery: OneShot on the chest, the welder logo on the left sleeve, the FR detail on the right sleeve.
- Measurements: taken by me, on the garment laid flat. Tolerance ±1.5 cm.
What this garment is not
It is not personal protective equipment. It does not have CE marking as PPE and it is not certified to the standards for welding clothing (EN ISO 11611) or for heat and flame (EN ISO 11612).
The fabric has an FR treatment declared by the manufacturer, but the finished garment has not undergone the tests required by those standards. If your work requires certified PPE, that is a different thing and must be bought as such: this garment does not replace it.
I write it here plainly because it is right that you know before you buy, not after.
Washing
- Wash it before wearing it for the first time.
- 40 °C, normal cycle, with dark colours.
- No fabric softener.
- No bleach, no dry cleaning.
- Tumble dry low or air dry, inside out.
- Iron at medium temperature, avoiding the embroidery.
The smell when you open the package
The garment may have an initial smell. It is normal and it does not stay: it goes with the first wash.
